How does the application process work?
Your application will first be checked individually by the recruiting department and the faculty. If necessary, you will then receive an invitation by e-mail with all the relevant information. As a rule, the first interview takes place online. If this first round of interviews is positive for both sides, we will invite you to a second round of interviews on site so that we and you can get a comprehensive picture. We often expand the group of participants in the second round so that you and your potential managers/team members can also get to know each other.

Of course, we make every effort to keep the waiting times for you between the individual steps as short as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot meet this requirement in all cases - especially in the case of larger interview rounds, a very high volume of applications or during holiday periods. It is very important to us that we examine each application individually and with the necessary care, handling your data respectfully and responsibly.

Can I prepare for an interview?
We are happy if you show us in the interview that you have studied Zehnder and your potential job in advance. The interview gives you the opportunity to present yourself and your skills and experience. Think about what information you are missing to get a complete picture of Zehnder and your future role. An interview is not an exam situation. Rather, the aim is to get to know each other and to be able to clarify open questions. Of course, you can take relevant documents with you to the interview and also take notes during the interview.

How does the initial interview work?
Usually, after a brief welcome and introduction, we first introduce you to the company and your possible job. Then you have the opportunity to introduce yourself in detail. We would like to understand how you envision your role at Zehnder and what expectations you bring with you. The interview will also clarify any questions you may have about the position.

What should I do if I don't have time on the proposed date for the interview?
If our proposed date is not possible for you, please contact our recruiting department using the contact details provided in the invitation letter. We will be happy to coordinate an alternative date for you. You can also use the link in the invitation letter to cancel the appointment or suggest another date. Please understand that due to the availability of your interview partners, it is not always possible to arrange an alternative date in a timely manner.
